Firsthand contributions

The contribution form collects an email address, account text, ratings, contributor type, and any role or experience dates you provide. The service also records the submitting IP address and verification and moderation information.

Email is used for confirmation and submission handling. A published contribution can show your account, role, dates, and ratings. The public contribution response does not include your email, IP address, or verification token.

Your account may identify you through its details even when your name and email are not displayed. Do not include information you do not want published, other people’s personal information, or confidential documents.

Sources and corrections

Source, deal, and correction forms send the details you enter for review. Those forms may offer an optional contact email. Include only the information needed to explain the record or correction.

Browser storage and service providers

The Big Board uses local browser storage for a random voting identifier and your recorded daily selection. The identifier is sent with a vote to limit duplicate votes. Administrative sign-in uses a cookie.

Hosting, API, and email services process requests needed to deliver the site and confirmation messages. Links to publishers and social platforms open services with their own privacy practices.

Questions about a submission

Use the correction form to raise a privacy concern or request review of a contribution. Identify the public page or submission without adding sensitive details. This notice does not promise a retention period, automatic deletion, or complete anonymity.
