Hercules Holding II
The holding company through which the 2006 HCA investor group held HCA. Organised as Hercules Holding II, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, throughout the acquisition and IPO era: named under that name as a filing person on HCA's SC 13E-3 Amendment No. 5 (2006-11-17) and identified in HCA's 2011 IPO prospectus as the vehicle through which the Investors indirectly owned approximately 72.9% of HCA after the offering. It is an SEC-reporting beneficial owner in its own right and files its own Schedule 13G/As. On 2016-09-23 it converted into Hercules Holding II, a Delaware general partnership, per Schedule 13G/A Amendment No. 6; the canonical name here carries no legal-form suffix because one Entity spans both forms and a suffix true of only part of the span would be false for the rest.
