No longer meaningfully operating

Filed a first Chapter 11 in November 2017, closing 100 of 375 stores and emerging in April 2018; filed a second Chapter 11 in July 2019 and closed all 261 remaining stores by August 31, 2019.

A brief attempt to relaunch 50-75 stores was announced in late 2019, but the company shut those down again in 2022 after failing to reach profitability; no Charming Charlie store operates today.
